only thing I don't like is it doesn't tell you an app to use for it. great way to do planks. sometimes i flip it over and use the handles as pushup bars.

I am just starting to work out after 3 kids. I used to do something similar and thought wow I like this its going to be an easy way to get back into exercise. It is a good hurt but I definitely know I did 45seconds on it. Can not wait for Saturday to do it again. very easy to follow exercise app>

There is an inflatable rubber ball that sits between the board and the floor. That makes it difficult to twist when you're on it, which makes playing a game difficult to nearly impossible. Wish I had just gone with the Stealth brand.

I am one of those that loves planks and was surprised how fast the time went while engaging with the games on the associate app. I enjoyed the variety of twists and challenges that left my core burning. The deck is stable, great grip under the elbows and easy set up. Great addition to my workout equipment.

This is a nicely made plank board. The pivot is a good design. It is good for planks and keeping good form. It has a decent spot for your smartphone so you can use some apps that may work with a plank board or doing planks. However, for the 90$ it just does not seem versatile enough for me. It is good for planking but is limited in its other uses. You can add mountain climbers, use on your back for dumbbells, but not really a lot. A piece of equipment like the terra-core, costs more but can be used for planking and many other movements including using it like a bosu and standing on it and doing squats and other movements. This was great for planks and keeping good form, but how many plank holds am I going to do in a workout or over the course of the day. Also it is best for alligator or sphinx type planks and not push up position planks. The board itself is fine and its great for planks. But for the price I would rather have equipment that can be used for many things. Will I use this for planks sure, but I can use my terra-core for planks, lifts, squats, push ups, sit-ups and more. This is just too limited a piece of fitness equipment for me to fully recommend. If I had a big gym and had the space for something specific to planks, than sure this is great. But that is not the case in my garage. If you have a big workout space, or a gym then sure I would add this. It would be a good station on a boot camp style workout. Well made, good design if you want to do things with your phone and apps, good for planking, but just not enough variety for me to justify the price for my home use.

While there are other plank boards on the market, there are not a lot of them. This is similar to the Stealth Fitness Stealth Abs board, but is less expensive and has an inflatable ball on the bottom instead of a more complicated system. It has a cutout that allows you to place your phone in it in either portrait or landscape orientations. The cutout is large enough to work with most phones including some of the larger ones. While there are no apps specific to this board, you can use this with any of the apps found for competitor boards such as Stealth Fitness or Plankpad, with some caveats. Unlike the Plankpad which only pivots to the left or right, this board gives you full degree of motion which actually gives your abs more of a workout since you need to stabilize not only left and right but also forward and back. Unlike the Stealth Abs board this does not easily twist left and right, but more rocks.
Setup is very easy. To set it up you need to inflate the ball using the included pump, which only took about a minute or two. You also need to remove the protective plastic from the phone cutout. The instructions only show exercises and warnings and don’t contain anything about setup such as how much to inflate the ball. I inflated it so it was firm, but not overinflated. The board has handles on the sides for easy caring and to prevent your fingers from getting squished if you go too far over.
I initially tried using this with the Plankpad app, but as the Plankpad only tilts left and right the app kept complaining that it wasn’t calibrated correctly and would exit the game if I didn't keep it perfectly level, so I would not recommend that app for this board. The Stealth Fitness app (which installs in the Game Launcher if you use it) worked much better with one exception. As the Stealth Abs board can twist left and right, the games sometimes require you to twist. I use the Core Hub on a carpeted floor and the rubber ball did not want to twist. It may twist better on a smooth floor, but definitely does not twist on carpet.
My conclusion… While the Stealth Fitness products are better, depending on the model they can cost twice as much or more. I think this is pretty good and probably will give you similar results, without smashing your fingers. It seems well made and will probably last for many years and you can use the money you saved to buy more games in the Stealth Fitness app.

I was a college athlete and work out every day, but hate doing core. This product is not only fun to use but you feel the impact immediately. High quality construction and portable, the inflated ball underneath makes it even more challenging versus a regular plank on the ground. My new favorite go-to ab workout!! Definitely a must have.
