    The mat is great. Really nice and thick. The last 10 minutes of aerobics class are spent on the mat stretching and it works really good. The elastic band that holds it together does not work well at all. The ones I've seen that have Velcro straps are much better.

    Really big, really thick. But it hurts so much to lie on a hard floor that I needed as much padding as I could get. This is plenty of padding, even for extra sensitive (or older) people with no padding on our body to protect bones. Yes, it is big, but not very heavy, and the carry strap makes it easy to transport.
