I had a bad herniated disc last year and was able to work my way out of it by major physical therapy, steroid and injections. My PT had me really focusing on core position and strengthening. It started me down a path of good strong work outs focused on this aspect. I have been wearing these ankle weights for about 9 months ( starting with light weight) almost everyday gym, running errands, around the house, work, etc.. When I walk with them, it allows me to slow down and focus on tight core and my entire body position.
These are by far my favorite weights. I have bought in 2bl, 3bl and recently 5lb each.
No long velcro strap to meticulously string through a small D-ring.
Easy to find end, to grip, open and remove.
They are comfortable and do not scratch or blister.
Not huge and bulky.
*The extra resistance to my workout has greatly improve my gym results on building core, leg and glute muscles. I have stomach muscles I never knew existed. I can't workout with out it now, feels too easy- plus I feel like a bad *ss. 🙂

Good fit and comfortable.

NOTE: My weight rating above is REALLY 3.8, not 3! I love the feel of the product! The fabric is very soft and comfortable. Nothing scratches my ankles! Great! I REALLY like the zipper feature for the weights. What a great idea. The feature makes it easier to insert/remove the weights. I noticed that I need to put the weight bags in the right locations for the lower weights, namely the 3 lbs. The way I arranged one of the weights was awkward, but this was not true for the other set. Apparently, I found the "sweet spot," which created a pleasant and effective workout. When the ankle weights contain 3 lbs., I notice a bulky feeling. I believe that was a comment on other brands too. I certainly understand the cause of the bulk: trying to create overall weight in a confined space. Would it be possible in future designs to use denser pellets in the weight bags? I also like the strength of the velcro. The velcro seals very well. I chose your brand because I didn't want to deal with a strap that attaches with a buckle. YOUR weights are EASY to remove or attach. 🙂 So far, I am satisfied with this product, although I almost purchased the "Henkelion" pink weights. They actually utilize a velcro strap that looks strong and user-friendly. The price was also about $2.00 cheaper. In the future, I might want to possess BOTH types: strap and non-strap! Excellent ankle weights. Well made and lots of Velcro which means they can be adjusted for varying ankle sizes.

They are really nice!!! Super padded, easy on/off, stay put. Very comfortable. No buckle problems. Very pleased.

I have ordered before and lovd them .. after about 6 month though, they wore through and little metal beads went EVERYWHERE! I put on and take off in garage now in case i miss a spot where its worn through.
